Scientific report about a requirement on Mars migrators

I'm wondering how this research mentioned in the article is useful despite of the research condition. The mice in the research were in outdoor pens, which is not the same with Mars environment. Though, they concluded that the body clocks affects mice's health, which I do not agree with.
